I’ve had a love affair with ceramics ever since college, when on a whim, I took a semester long class. Over the last several decades, in all of the cities I’ve lived in, I’ve spent time in pottery studios. Recently, I’ve been able to spend more consistent time at the studio in Fort Lauderdale, where I now live, to improve my skills and technique.

My pieces are all wheel thrown and hand carved. I love adding texture to my pieces, either by carving, imprinting, or adding slip. I’m always finding inspiration from my surroundings-from the rough urban geometries of the city to the fluid beauty of the ocean.
